~ Info on Pictures Attached – A very good customer of mine named May kindly submitted these pictures of this blouse she made from this pattern. She has an amazing eye for colour contrast and printed fabrics that suit vintage wear. This is what she had to say –

“The fabric requirements are 1.5 meters of pattern plus 0.5 meter of plain, or 2 meters all in one fabric. I used a patterned lawn fabric and the contrast is purple taffeta.

The pattern made up fairly easily but it is not obvious the blouse has a tail until you join the side seams and realised the back is much longer on closer scrutiny you realise in the last diagram it has a tail. This feature is fabulous as when you wear it you can tuck it in and it doesn’t ride up! 50s design for you.
Great sizing on this pattern pretty spot on but you can get away with a larger waist mine is 29″ and it fits just right.

Took me circa 13 hours to cut out and make. I am going to make another before summer.”
